Collaboration
There are different possibilities of joining us – everything from short-term assignments to long-term collaboration. Find out more details here.
Honorary collaboration
We appreciate a regular or now and then help in our office or in the renovation of our 130 year old house.
Financial help
The work of EMO is financed almost completely through donations. We are thankful if you will support us once, now and then or regularly.
Invitation
We look forward to visit you in your church or Bible study to report from the work of EMO, or to lead a seminar about Islam and the Christian faith.
Prayer
We are completely dependent on our God in all things we are doing. We are part of his mission. So we ask him for help and for his blessing in all our activities. We send a prayer-mail every second week and once a month a prayer-calendar. We can send you both.
Winning of friends
You can tell your friends about our work and you can encourage them to order our magazine EMO AKTUELL. We appreciate new friends!
Long-term collaboration
It is useful to plan any collaboration lasting several years in order to be more effective in an intercultural situation. With professions such as a nurse, teacher, midwife, theologian, lecturer etc. you can take on important tasks. We will arrange special courses (biblical-theological, intercultural) to prepare you individually.
Short-term assignments
For short-termers we offer different possibilities: - Up to 6-month period of practical training in connection with university studies (Theology, Intercultural Studies, Ethnology, Islamic Studies) - Four weeks for medical students (from 7th semester onwards) in Aswan/Egypt - Short-term assignments for special projects and special duties (from one month up to several months) - Four-months assignment with Egypt 21 in Cairo: training for effective missionary work among children and youngsters with migrant background in Germany.
